Originally from the forests of Ethiopia's Gesha region, the Geisha variety made its way to Tanzania in the 1930s and later to Panama. There, from 2000 onwards, it gained worldwide recognition for its elegant cup quality and floral notes of jasmine and peach.
Our Geisha is named Tandala – the majestic eland antelope of Tanzania, a symbol of strength, rarity, and sophistication.
The cherries are hand-picked, carefully sorted, and dried for weeks under the African sun before their complex aromas fully develop during a resting phase.
