Finca San Sebastián in Guatemala belongs to both categories for us.
When specialty coffee was still in its infancy, a trip with Wolfgang Dehner, Stefan Sprengel, and Álvaro Delgado took us to Guatemala. There we discovered Finca San Sebastián—a farm whose exceptional location on the volcanic slopes of Antigua and its meticulous management continue to impress us to this day.
Fertile soils, shade trees, thoughtful water treatment, and a deep understanding of coffee cultivation: Even back then, they were already practicing what we now consider exemplary, responsible agriculture.
For our 20th anniversary, we return in spirit to this special place. With a coffee that represents our history and the conviction that has guided us to this day.
