This exceptional coffee comes from the high altitudes of Santa Ana, El Salvador, specifically from Finca Kilimanjaro, one of Aida Batlle's family farms. At an elevation of 1,720 meters, the SL34 variety is grown and processed using the washed method. The result is a clean, elegant cup with notes of cardamom, lemongrass, and caramel. Aida Batlle is a fifth-generation coffee farmer who manages the three family farms: Los Alpes, Kilimanjaro, and Mauritania. She achieved international recognition in 2003 when Finca Kilimanjaro won first place at the Cup of Excellence, with Los Alpes coming in 16th. Aida's greatest success lies in her continuous pursuit of innovation and sustainability – however, her biggest challenge remains patience: "Plants are living beings. Even if you have the money to plant or prune an entire farm, not everything depends on finances – we are dependent on nature, and it has taught me patience."
